Introduction to the GWP Module
This module is your central hub for all "free gift" campaigns. It is divided into two main sections:
Manage Promotions: A dashboard to view all your past, present, and future GWP campaigns and their status.
Create Promotion: The workspace where you create and launch new promotional campaigns from scratch.
Understanding Promotion Types
Locad offers three types of GWP promotions, allowing you to tailor your campaigns to specific business goals:
Store Wide A free gift is added to every order from a specific marketplace during the promotion period, regardless of what is purchased. This is great for general brand-building campaigns.
Minimum Spend Customers receive a gift only if their total order value reaches a specific amount (e.g., "Spend PHP 1000, get a free gift"). This is ideal for increasing the average order value.
Minimum Quantity Customers receive a gift only if they purchase a specific quantity of a particular product (e.g., "Buy 2 of T-Shirt X, get a free gift"). This is perfect for promoting a new product or clearing excess stock of a specific item.
Walkthrough: Creating a New Promotion
1. Start a New Promotion
Navigate to Gift With Purchase > Create Promotion from the left-hand menu.
2. Choose Your Promotion Type
Select one of the three campaign types at the top of the page: Store Wide, Minimum Spend, or Minimum Quantity. The fields on the page will change based on your selection.
3. Enter Promotion Details
Fill out the Promotion Information section:
Marketplace: Select the integrated store (e.g., Shopify) where the promotion will be active.
Promotion Name: Give your campaign a clear and descriptive name.
- Promotion Period: Use the calendar and time selectors to set a precise Start Date and End Date.
4. Select the Free Gift
In the Gift Settings section:
Click + Add Gift.
In the pop-up window, search for and select the product from your inventory that will be given away as the free item.
- Set the Claim per order quantity (e.g., 1 for one free item per qualifying order).
5. Set the Qualifying Condition
This step depends on the promotion type you chose in Step 2.
For
Minimum Spend
: A new section will appear. Enter the required Minimum Spend Amount a customer must reach to get the gift.
Multiplier: If you enable this, the gifts will be multiplied according to the qualifying criteria. E.g. if the Minimum spend amount is 500 and your customer spends 1000, 2X gifts will be given based on what you chose belowFor
Minimum Quantity
: A new SKU Selection section will appear. Click + Add SKU to choose the specific product a customer must buy, then set the Qty Qualifier (the number of units they need to purchase).For

: No further conditions are needed.
6. Publish Your Promotion
Review all the details of your campaign. Once you are satisfied, click the Publish button in the bottom-right corner to save and activate your promotion.
Managing Your Promotions
To see an overview of all your campaigns, navigate to Gift With Purchase > Manage Promotions. This page lists every promotion you have created. Key information includes:
Status: See if a promotion is
