Introduction to the Create Return:

Use the Create Return module to create returns for non-integrated platforms (e.g., Shopify) as well as dropship returns that are not fulfilled by Locad.


Walkthrough

Step 1: Go to "Create Return"

  • From the left-hand sidebar, navigate to Returns > Create Return.

  • This will open the "Create Return" page where you can initiate a return request.


Step 2: Choose Return Type

  • In the Return Type dropdown, you will see two options:

    1. Shopify/Other Returns – for orders originally fulfilled by Locad but from non-integrated marketplaces (Shopify, TikTok, etc).

    2. Dropship Returns – for orders not fulfilled by Locad (e.g., CN → SG orders shipped directly, now returned).

  • Select the appropriate return type based on the order you’re processing.



Step 3: Fill in Order Details

Once you select a return type, the order details form will appear.

  • Tracking Number → Enter the tracking ID of the returned package.

  • Warehouse for Return → Select the Locad warehouse where the package is being returned.


Step 4: Add Return Item Details

  • In the SKU list section, input:

    • Inventory SKU → Select the SKU from your inventory.

    • Return Order Quantity → Enter how many units are being returned.

    • Return Reason → Choose from the dropdown (e.g., defective, wrong item, customer return).

  • You can add multiple rows if the return contains more than one SKU (click + Add row).


Step 5: Submit Return

  • Once all the details are filled in, click Submit.

  • The return will then be visible under Returns > Manage Returns, where you can track its status.
