Introduction to Amazon Integration
Integrating Amazon with Locad allows you to streamline your fulfillment process by automating order syncing and inventory updates. Once connected, Locad helps brands experience seamless fulfillment across a network of warehouses.
Important Prerequisites & Limitations: Before you begin, please note the following system behaviors:
Inventory Updates: Amazon does not accept frequent inventory updates. There is a typical latency of 10-20 minutes. Please set up buffer stock to prevent overselling.
Warehouse Limit: Currently, we can only integrate a single warehouse. Multi-warehouse capabilities are not yet supported for this integration.
SKU Management: The system functions best when FBM (Fulfilled by Merchant) SKUs are distinct/different from FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) SKUs.
Carrier Codes: If you are operating in a country other than Australia (AU), please check with the Tech team before going live, as carrier-related information must be configured manually in the system.
Order Statuses: We configure the tracking detail update call based on the order status in the warehouse. The possible values are:
Picked in warehouse = Shipped in Amazon
Packed in warehouse = Shipped in Amazon
Ready for dispatch = Shipped in Amazon
